Iraqi Forces Chalanged In Basra

I found two articles that discussed the Iraqi forces deployment to Basra. One of my sources was CBS News, and the other was BBC News. These two articles present the information that is discussed in a different way.
My first article "
Iraqi army shows force in Basra", tells how an Iraqi commander is leading a convoy of Iraqi troops into the oil rich region of Basra. Basra is a region that is still partially controlled by Shia militias. The Iraqi forces conducted there mission with limited involvement from American and British troops. An American general is quoted saying that "the majority of the Iraqi security forces performed their mission. Some were not up to the task and the government of Iraq is taking the necessary action in those cases." This quote sheds a positive and overall good outlook for the future of Iraqi forces being successful on there own.

My second source was CBS News. The article was titled, "
U.S.: Iraqi Forces Challenged In Basra". This article also explains the deployment of Iraqi troops to Basra but exposes the challenges that these troops face. "He said most of the Iraqi troops "performed their mission" but some "were not up to the task" and the Iraqi government is investigating what happened."
In the previous article from BBC the author included a quote by the general saying that even thought the Iraqi troops have room for improvement that they still performed well and up to the task.

These two sources have a slight bias. The CBS article appears that they want to downplay the growing performance of the Iraqi troops. The BBC article included a quote that leaves the reader impressed with the growing improvements in the Iraqi army.

Here are my two sources.
